when i was in high school, I had to study all the time and hardly had spare time to do what i wanted to.Besides, I had to focus on my textbooks and doing exercise again and again. Therefore, I had little time to read magazines and novels and watch TV. what was worse, I couldnt play with my friends a lot, which I couldnt stand the most. In a word, all i did in high shool should be considered for the College Entrance Examination.
However, my college life is totally different from the life in high school.I can arrangemy time freely. I spend most of my time reading in the library, where I can open my eyes and broaden my mind.In my free time, I also join some clubs, where i can make a lot of friends of different majors. My teachers in college are so kind and knowledgeable that they not only teach us knowledge but also how to be a person and how to get on with others. In addition, there are more opportunities for me to improve myself.
I believe college life is an important stage in my life. In college, i can learn how to learn by myself, how to get on with others, how to live independently.College provides me with a stage where i can show myself and be myself.
It has been two years since I first got to university. Some of my classmates say that the college life is boring, because they have plenty of time but do not knowwhat to do. However, from my point of view, the campus life in college is interesting and colorful as long as you make it meaningful.
In the first semester in college, I didnt relax and I still worked hard as I was in the senior school. I usually spent two hours in study at night and I went to the classroom forautonomous learning. But the difference is that I have many extracurricular activities. For example, I went to the English Corner regularly on Tuesday night, in which I could practice my spoken English and make friends with common interests.
Besides, I join the Student Union of my department. In the Student Union, I have a group of workmates who work hard together and support to each other. Actually, it looks like a big, warm family that we can share our lives together. During various activities, I realize the importance of team spirit that helps us go further.
Finally, college is great stage to improve a student and show ones abilities. In college, I know more about our society and get more channels to explore the outside world. I realize that I am not only a student but also an adult who is preparing to step into the society.
In short, I cherish my life in college campus and I will try hard to make it colorful as well as meaningful.
Time spent at a university is a most worthwhile period in a young persons life. This is a time when a student begins to form his or her ideas about life in general. Attending classes and studying in the library keep a student busy and provide him or her with access to valuable information， adding to his or her knowledge base.
Campus life can also be rich and colorful. Most universities offer a variety of extracurricular activities such as sports events， contests， and other social gatherings， enabling the students to experience relief from study and homework. Students often form lifelong friendships through the varied experiences of university life.
During the time a student spends at university， he not only develops his intellectual abilites，he also develops social skills as well as knowledge and wisdom necessary for choosing a future career. By learning how to balance intense study and recreation， a student will be well prepared for the challenges of future responsibilities.
First I must say the campus life is really different from what I have experienced in high school. For instance,I used to lean upon my dormitory teacher to wake me up on time. But now I have to set several alarm clocks to make myself could hear them in the morning otherwise I would miss my class. And then even worse there would be nobody remind me except my teacher! So the differences are everywhere and I could easily find them. The change of life is great and its wonderful:I have more time of my own and the rights to decide how I live.
My campus activities are rich and colorful.Learning English has become a habit to me cause I plan to study abroad in next few years.Playing Guzheng is my favorite activity.I have kept on practising it since I was a little girl and I wish to win more competitions in my campus life.
Our university has the first level equipments and the most experienced teachers, also has the best students.I consider it to be a honor that Ive got a chance to study here and I sincerely hope that we could live wonderful lives in our campus!
After entering college,we found, to our surprise, that differences between high school life and college life are great. In high school,we always depended on our parents and teachers to solve all kinds of difficult problems. At college, however,we have to rely exclusively on ourselves.Whats more, we have to learn how to get along with our classmates and roommates.
Four years at college is an important yet very short period of time in our life.So it is always expected that we adapt to this life as quickly as possible. But it is a pity that not everyone can do so immediately. Here are some suggestions.
First, get familiar with the main buildings on the campus.Spend one or two hours by yourself or with your classmates to go around the campus so that you can know the location of such important places as the library, the dining room, the post office, the clinic and classrooms.Next, try to be independent.Learn to do such things as making sound decisions on how to spend your time, how to spend your money etc,and washing clothes on your own.
Furthermore, form good study habits.Talk with your classmates and learn from their good habits. Finally, try to take part in all kinds of activities to get out of your solitude and get on well with your classmates.
Being in the college can be regarded as the best time of the life for the young. The campus life is enjoyable, precious, and alsocolorful.
This is a time for a student to his or her ideas about life in general. Attending classes provide him or her precious knowledge, adding to his or her knowledge base. Library is also a good place for students to study in where you can receive more information. Studying in college is a brand new start of our life. One can continue to study hard for the better scores.
In your spare time, you could play basketball, football and so on. Doing sports is very interesting and good for your health. If you want to show your talents and skills you can join in all kinds of activities.
In fact, you can do anything which you are interested in. Therefore, a student in college should fully use the time in college, making his or her life much more colorful.First of all, owing to the lack of connection with the society, wed better have some activities to get into touch with the different society.
In a word, college life is enjoyable, precious and alsocolorful.
As we know, many people favor the idea that the college life is free and comfortable, but I’d like to say it’s not true. As a matter of fact, my life in university is so busy that I wonder if my energy is enough. As to my college life, I divide it into four parts, including study and student activities.
Firstly, I want to talk about the study. In my opinion, study is the priority in college. When I received the letter of admission in summer, I knew clearly that what I should do. So I make up my mind to study hard and pursue learning as much as possible. I’m greatly convinced that knowledge can change my life. Therefore, I often go to the quiet study room where many people study there. By working so hard, I get good grades in the exams.
Secondly, student activities play an important role in our college life. To be honest, the student Union is a good place where one can develop social skills, get his abilities trained. I take part in many student activities. For example, I’ m a volunteer, teaching the kids to learn to dance and write. I think it’s meaningful for everyone to give a hand to others. I can also do some jobs in the Student Union, including receiving and sending fast mail, selling papers and magazines. I think they’re unforgettable and worthwhile experiences for me.
In short, my life in university is busy but valuable. You can see that study brings me knowledge, student activities improve myself, library changes my horizons, the others things make me independent. They get all my abilities trained. And I see t
hat the chance will come only if you have a prepared mind, so Im sure that I can achieve my dreams in college life.
My university life is better than expected,It is universally acknowledged that when a freshman walk into a big, fascinating but complicated campus, what impresses him most will be the atmosphere of freedom and the “abuse”,which will teach you a lesson before you really adapt to the life of university.
After years of frustration with heavy homework and education which mostly gives us skill of exam more than knowledge itself,I sat down and imagined how my college life would be this summer vacation. In my opinion, compared with universities in HK,universities here is less active, full of awkward political education, and provide too much leisure time in which laziness is born.In a word, it will be boring, if it fits my idea.
However, life tends to be more and more different from expected,as I feel myself absorbed into the campus little by little.Every day when I pass by the door of dormitory I notice tens of posts that contains information of activities of miscellaneous groups or interesting lectures which widen our horizon, just like the lively and colorful world below the calm surface of the Pacific Ocean.
When it comes to my major, mathematics,I am very willing to devote much time to having lessons, doing proper homework, going to libraries to check more details other than textbooks or debating problems through MSN with other friends who share the same interest.
In my understanding, if we refer to an ideal college life as a formal western dinner, then a high GPA, that is, Grade Point Average, should be the main course, while an active part in activities, together with associations, means the appetizer. Some romances, of course, play the role as desserts. They are the 3 key elements for an ideal college life.
Those, however, are not what college life is all about. As we all know, college is wildly different from middle school. It connects not only adolescence to adulthood, but also the ivory tower to the real society. Therefore, the ideal college life is that I become matured both physically and mentally, and that I obtain qualified academic knowledge and get well prepared for society at the same time.
Under this circumstance, I never expect my college life to be too ideal, or you can call it too perfect. It is not realistic to make all things on my own way, with everyone liking me, winning the first prize all the time, and so on. Of course, I’d like to lead a carefree life. However, this does little good to my future. What really helps is hardships like failure, betrayal, and unjust treatment. Only after experiencing those can I know what society is like, and what life is like.
To conclude my speech, I wanna say, some positive experiences are surely part of the ideal college life. But, I should not forget about the negative sides. They are not less necessary.
However, my college life is totally different from the life in high school.I can arrange my time freely. I spend most of my time reading in the library, where I can open my eyes and broaden my mind.In my free time, I also join some clubs, where i can make a lot of friends of different majors.
